REFINED STYLE MARKS MINIMILIST REVOLUTION IN TIMEPIECES
Introducing the Autumn Winter 2011
Skagen Denmark Black Label Collection
October 2010 – Travel to any city, walk into any restaurant, office or social establishment and you can’t miss it. The core style philosophy of ‘less is more’ – the very essence of Danish design - is making a timely worldwide impression. At the center of the movement is Skagen Denmark, the pioneer of men’s and women’s timepieces and the introduction of Black Label – the brand’s Autumn/Winter 2010 Men’s and Women’s Watch Collections. Featuring simple elements fused with high-quality craftsmanship and a modern sensibility, there is a look to suit a range of personal styles – all at attractive, affordable luxury price points.
Skagen Denmark Black Label is inspired by a distinct range of naturally exquisite materials and the native Scandinavian surroundings of Charlotte and Henrik Jorst, husband and wife team and co-founders of the company. The ethos of their design motto is to draw inspiration from abstract arts and shapes while maintaining refined sensibility and maximum functionality. They look to craftsmanship usually synonymous with only the highest-end luxury goods to deliver signature accessories accessible and attractive to a wide range of discerning consumers.
A trio of uniquely-different and stately – yet very wearable - watch designs comprise the Black Label Collection:
Executive – Think Tailor Made – just for you. Inspired by professional drive in the workplace, each time piece portrays prestige with minimalistic and unique qualities – ideal for creating a polished, tailored approach to dressing. Luxurious genuine Italian leather bands go from the board room to today’s mobile office. Polished stainless steel cases with mirror borders and distinct dial indexes crafted with two-hand, dual-time zones and dates within Swiss Made movements are among the key elements. Suggested retail price starting at $175 USD.
Architect – The utilization of rugged and industrial design materials such as mesh and links ensure both durability and functionality. Skagen Designs has combined the essence of today’s contemporary building structures with an expansive attention to detail. Brushed stainless steel cases, chrome mirrors borders, and chronograph Swiss Made movements are just a few of the dignified elements that will stand the test of time. Suggested retail price starting at $225 USD.
Cocktail – Each timepiece has a synthesis of design and composition, beauty and construction providing the ultimate statement of elegance and sublime character. Styles feature metallic minimalism, redefining the approach of timeless glamour. Genuine diamonds and semi-precious stones combine with polished links and satin bands to create works of art that can be admired daily…No need to wait for a special celebration. Suggested retail price starting at $275 USD.
The Skagen Denmark Fall 2010 Black Label Timepiece Collection is available online at www.skagen.com. All watches include the International Limited Lifetime Warranty – unprecedented in the watch category. This feature underscores the company’s commitment to extraordinary customer service.
